Innovation in Finance

Where People & Technology Meet
At Reliant Capital, our values have always been centered on people, both our employees and our customers. From the very beginning, our mission has been simple: to create the best possible experience for everyone involved, while making the process fast, seamless, and straight forward.
When we started this business six years ago, there was nothing glamorous about it. Our “systems” were a shared Excel spreadsheet stored in Google Drive, managed by five founding team members wearing multiple hats. Each transaction required an enormous amount of time and effort. Many of our earliest employees juggled several roles just to keep things moving. It was messy, it was hands-on, and it was far from efficient, but it was driven by grit, determination, and a belief that there had to be a better way.
Building for the Future
As Reliant grew, so did the complexity of our work. The equipment financing industry has historically lagged behind others, like mortgage, when it comes to technology and automation. But we recognized early on that the future of finance would not be defined by choosing between people and technology, it would be about blending the two.
That vision drove us to make innovation a core priority, even when resources were limited. With a small, nimble team and a modest budget, we began experimenting, building, and learning. There were plenty of missteps along the way, but each one brought us closer to solutions that could make a real difference for our clients and our employees.
The Technology We’ve Built
Today, our internal systems look very different than those early spreadsheets. We’ve developed tools and automations that power nearly every step of the financing process:
Seamless application gathering that feeds directly into our CRM, eliminating manual entry.
Automated credit pulling, reducing wait times and increasing accuracy.
Over 200 live scripts and functions inside our CRM that remove repetitive tasks and free up our team to focus on higher-value work.
Automated document generation and DocuSign integration, creating a smooth, end-to-end customer journey.
And this is just the beginning. Artificial intelligence is already part of our toolkit, from Microsoft’s CoPilot helping us capture meeting notes, to real-time coaching in our phone systems that provides sales teams with feedback and suggestions during calls. Every new system is designed with one goal: to make the customer experience better while giving our people the tools to succeed.
Why It Matters
All of these advances are not just about efficiency or cutting-edge tech for the sake of it. They’re about staying true to our values. Each tool we build or adopt is grounded in a simple principle: technology should enhance the human experience, not replace it. By removing bottlenecks and automating the busywork, we allow our people to focus on what they do best, building relationships, solving problems, and serving our customers with care.
Innovation at Reliant Capital is not about boasting or racing to have the newest gadget. It’s about creating a foundation where our people can thrive, where customers feel valued, and where vendors trust the process. That’s how we honor the commitment we made from day one: to combine integrity, service, and forward thinking into everything we do.
